Srbijagas completes feasibility study for the Serbian section of South Stream

CEO of Srbijagas Dušan Bajatović said Serbia is the first member of South Stream to complete the feasibility study for its section. He also noted that South Stream is one of many projects carried out in strategic partnership with Gazprom Group.

“Gazprom will not only ensure energy and gas supplies security, but also allow speeding up development of industrial and energy sectors both in Serbia and in the whole region”, said Bajatović.

The Serbian 470 kilometers long section of the gas pipeline will require €1 bln investments to be built. Its construction will start in 2012.
