Russian-Serbian JSC Yugorosgaz completed the construction of the first section of the MG-11 Nis-Leskovac-Vranje main gas pipeline and a 7-km municipal gas network in the town of Leskovac in the south of Central Serbia.

Nord Stream’s second gas pipeline string has been completed ahead of schedule. On April, 18 the last of the 99,953 pipes was linked to the gas pipeline and bottomed to the floor of the Baltic Sea with the aid of Castoro Sei pipe lay vessel near the Swedish Island of Gotland.

According to the forecast, the global consumption of energy resources will grow by 35% during this period, with the growth provided by the developing countries going through industrialization today.

WINGAS, a joint venture between Gazprom and the German company Wintershall, received a permit to construct a gas pipeline to link the Jemgum underground gas storage facility (UGSF) under construction to the gas transportation system of the Netherlands.

A trial dual well was put into pilot operation at the Yuzhno-Russkoye field (Geolog Settlement, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District). The well launch targets the development of the Turonian-age gas deposits of the Yuzhno-Russkoye oil and gas condensate field.
