Gazprom's Export to the Far Abroad Amounted to 156.5 Bcm within 9.5 Months of 2018

According to preliminary data, from January, 1 to October 15, 2018, Gazprom produced 385.6 bcm of gas, which is by 6.8%, or 24.5 bcm, more than in the same period of the previous year.

The company’s domestic gas sales from national gas distribution network increased by 4.5% (by 7.5 bcm).

Within the nine and a half months of 2018, Gazprom exported 156.5 bcm of gas to the Far Abroad countries, which is 5.2%, or almost 8 bcm, more than within the period of January, 1 — October, 15, 2017. In particular, supplies for target markets of Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project have increased significantly.   For example, to Germany — by 11.9% (4.8 bcm), to Austria — by 32.3% (2 bcm), to the Netherlands — by 38.6% (1.3 bcm), to France — by 9.5% (0.9 bcm). Along with that, exports to Poland increased by 9.9%, to Greece— by 17%, to Denmark — by 7.7%.
